Our annual Falls Township Touch a Truck event will be held at Falls Township Community Park on Saturday, Sept. 21 (rain date is Sunday, Sept. 22) from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Our first hour is designated as sensory-friendly for community members with special needs. Representatives from The Goofy Gators will be on hand throughout the day to provide support to our special needs patrons.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. families can learn about the different types of trucks in use throughout the community. The event is a FREE, family-friendly, hands-on event offering children the opportunity to EXPLORE, CLIMB, and TOUCH trucks, emergency response vehicles and heavy machinery. Children will meet personnel who protect, serve, and build our community. This experience is a valuable learning opportunity for children as our sponsors can explain how these gigantic vehicles serve the community in such ways as first response (police/fire/EMS), farming, manufacturing, construction, etc.
Other activities include face painting, a bounce house, balloon artistry and much more. Food/drink will be sold by Levittown #1 Fire Department.
Our popular truck event follows our Family Festival (which will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 from 6-9 p.m.) and features live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and fireworks at dusk.
