Description
REGISTRATION:
FREE- All contestants MUST PRE-REGISTER as participation will be limited according to CDC guidelines at the time of the event. REGISTRATION- opens Oct. 1. Once registered, you will receive a timed, socially distant arrival time for parade line up. Registration for the Halloween Parade allows your family to walk through Scarecrow Row and the Trunk or Treat. Registration is NOT Required to walk through, but IS required if you want to participate.
Only register one person in your household - there will be a question during the registration process to list the members of your house participating.
Mask and Social Distancing protocols will be enforced.
PARADE PATH
Contestants will walk the parade route- at socially distant intervals. The parade route is an approx. ½ mi. path from the main parking lot toward the amphitheater as the judges view each costume. Continue to walk through ScareCrow Row to the decorated Halloween car/trunk show at the Maureen M. Welch School-back parking area as part of the parade route. The contestants can cast a ballot for the most creative vehicles. Once your ballot is collected, receive a treat bag, provided by P&R, and parade back to your car.
COSTUME CATEGORIES & PRIZES
New Categories this year! Most Clever Costume, Best Family Theme, Best Individual, and Funniest/ Craziest Costume. Pets are now a part of the parade too. Best pet duo/ pet family. Check out the categories on the registration form and get your thinking hats on to dazzle the judges. Cash prizes and awards to be given out.

*Please note that the Recreation Department will be following the PA Sate and CC guidelines at the time of this event. Programs may be canceled at any time due to the Covid pandemic or any weather-related circumstances.
