The sun is shining, there’s a cool breeze in the air, you’re in a wide open field picking bright, juicy strawberries to enjoy with your family. Sounds like the perfect almost-summer activity, right? Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, one of my all-time favorite places for family activities, is welcoming families back to the farm with pick-your-own strawberries beginning June 3rd. Hop on the wagon from the Pick Your Own Barn to the strawberry field and grab some of this delicious fruit.
Timed tickets must be purchased in advance for $5/person (children under age 2 are free). The pick-your-own fruit is not included in the ticket price and will be purchased at $3.49/lb.
Picking hours are as follows:
Wednesday through Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Please note that safe operating procedures for social distancing will be in place, including limited capacity on wagons, maintenance of 6 ft. social distance, wearing of masks for all guests age 3+, and sanitizing stations and portable bathrooms throughout the farm.
