If you’ve ever been to Bouncing Off the Walls, you already know what a fantastic place it is for kids to bounce, climb, slide, and play their little hearts out. With two bounce houses, a climbing structure with a slide, plus toys that let kids build, create, and imagine, there’s something for everyone. On January 25th, sibling co-owners, Beth and Ryan, celebrated Bouncing Off the Walls’ 5th birthday with a packed event that included free open play, a bean bag toss for prizes, face painting, and cupcakes.

1. Can you give some insight into your background and life outside of Bouncing Off The Walls?
Beth Howell- Beth has a background in early childhood education and has spent her entire life working with children whether that was teaching dance, working at a local daycare, or assisting family and friends with caring for their children. Beth has three boys and a husband that spend their time outside of BOTW on the baseball diamond. Beth has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience to families in the community and will do all she can to bring joy to those who enter BOTW.
Ryan Eavers - Ryan, Beth’s youngest brother graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2013 with a degree in Finance and a minor is Business Management. Ryan currently is an accountant for a local company and uses his finance background behind the scenes at BOTW. Ryan supports his sister, ensures that all daily operations are successful and monitors sales and safety procedures. His goal is to make sure those who enter the facility are happy and safe! Outside of BOTW, he and his fiancé love to spend time outdoors whether that be hiking or even doing yard work! Soaking in the vitamin D is where he likes to be!
2. What made you decide to open an indoor playspace?
We had always talked about how fun it would be to own a children’s place. With Beth having two children at the time, we felt it would be great for her to bring the kids to work, but also do something that she is passionate about! Ryan wanted a challenge and to use his education and experience to run a business and to do so with his sister. We felt it would be great to have somewhere in the community that kids can play, burn off some energy, use their imagination and meet new friends!
3. What do you like best about owning Bouncing Off the Walls?
We love watching the children grow! Over the past 5 years we have seen so many go from crawling to walking and now they are getting ready to head into kindergarten! We also love seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they are playing and enjoying their time on the play floor. In addition, we love the friends and connections we have made over the years. We have learned so much about those in the community and have been able to create a safe place for those to spend time together and interact with their children.
4. Do you have any special events planned? If so, please tell us a little about them.
We have our next family night on February 28 from 5-8pm with Mr. Mouse & Mrs. Mouse.
Then, on March 27th from 5-8pm we will have Shark Baby & Mermaid Princess!
5. What else would you like Lower Bucks community members to know about BOTW?
BOTW is a safe, clean, and fun place for children crawling up to age 8! We strive to make sure our facility is cleaned on a regular basis to ensure it is safe for all families. We love hosting birthday parties and family events and keep our social media and website up to date with any upcoming events!
